Alstroemerias are a variety of flowers originated in the Andean regions of Colombia, Peru, Chile, Ecuador, and also in Brazil. This flower was named after the Swedish Botanist Clas Alströmer. Alstroemerias from Colombia are known to be a long-lasting flower due to the low soil temperatures in the Bogotá Savanna, required for blooming. They are also known around the world for their beauty, resulting from variety innovation that produces the prettiest flowers in terms of size, color, and consistency.
