We wanted to make an impact in Japan, to offer a surprise that made the japanese feel in the fields of Colombia, surrounded by beautiful colors, different shapes and all of the diversity that Colombian Flowers have to offer.

To make this happen we contacted Massa, one of the most renowned Japanese flower artists, recognized for being versatile and modern, and together we made a masive flower arrangement called “A gift from Colombia”. We exhibited this work of art in the tokyo train station: Gransta PLAZA ZERO.

The Japanese were able to enjoy the essence of Colombian flowers, feel the power of the earth and the passion that Colombian growers pour into the flowers, to bring a light of joy and happiness to the entire world through their beauty.

We decorated the station with 2.890 flowers of all kinds from the Colombian lands, we counted with the participation of the Ambassador of Colombia in Japan, H.E. Santiago Pardo, Mr. Kunihiko Hirano, President of Tetsudokaikan Co., Ltd. (JR Group company that manages the Gransta shopping complex), Mr. Shingo Ishihara, (CEO of Maison Cacao INC.), Ms. Mayumi Ogata, (Legal Representative of Cacao Hunters Japan Co., Ltd). and Mr. Taroh Suzuki, (President of Saza Coffee Co., Ltd.)

After the inauguration, they decided that, due to the magnificent impact, the exhibition should be held for four more days so our display could be enjoyed by around 500,000 people per day.

We know that it has been a very difficult year, but it has also been a year that has made us stronger and more united, we believe that a flower is a symbol of hope, it is one of the greatest manifestations of beauty of this planet and will always remind us of the value of life and the value of diversity.

We like to express our gratitude to the Japanese people and show our support and good relationship between the two countries.
